School of Medicine Awards Ceremony

Sydney Urodynamic - Thursday, December 21, 2017

Dear Professor Korda,

Thank you for your continued support of our students, the next generation of doctors and medical professionals, through the Award for Most Outstanding Performance in the Obstetric and Gynaecological Oral Examinations.
Please find attached, photos from the event and below, a note of thanks from your recipient.
“I went into medical school not really knowing much about what it means to be a doctor, but now that I have finished, I don’t regret any of it. Sure medical school has been very challenging, both academically but also emotionally, however there is nothing else I would rather be doing. My goals for the future are quite simple, I want to be the best doctor I can possibly be, regardless of what field I end up in, and I want to be a doctor who truly has my patient’s best interests at heart. These awards have really been a result of 5 years of hard work, and it’s truly an honour to be acknowledged.” – David Sun
2017 was a great year for the School of Medicine – it marked the 10 year anniversary of our first student in-take and we opened our new Macarthur Clinical School among other highlights. You have a continuing role in making each year better than the last, thank you so much.
I wish you all the very best for Christmas and the New Year!
Sincerely,
Ray
