What is urinary urgency?
Urinary urgency is the inability to hold urine long enough to reach a toilet. You experience a strong and sudden need to urinate often followed by an involuntary loss of urine. This can occur at any time of the day or night.
What causes urinary urgency?
It is often due to bladder problems such as bladder ‘spasm’ or detrusor overactivity.
What treatment is recommended for urinary urgency?
There are several treatments available, once the correct diagnosis through a Urodynamic Study has been made.
